ALPOLIC® Classic Polyethylene Core

ALPOLIC®/PE is a metal composite material (MCM) that is produced by laminating two thin sheets of aluminum on either side of an extruded thermoplastic core. Other metal composite materials are also available (MCM). The metallic surfaces have been prefinished and coil-coated in a variety of paint finishes before bonding.

ALPOLIC®/PE panels offer the rigidity of heavy-gauge sheet metal in a lightweight panel that’s easy to fabricate and adaptable to a vast range of indoor and outdoor building applications.

ALPOLIC®/fr Fire-Retardant Core
ALPOLIC®/fr is one of the most advanced fire-retardant cladding materials available, meeting many fire codes worldwide as identified in our product literature. Offered in an extensive choice of attractive options, this affordable material is one of the most popular choices for external cladding – used in landmark projects around the globe.
Fire retardant ability is an important safety consideration in any building project, and fire-retardant cladding is typically required in buildings that exceed a minimum height as specified by applicable codes.
ALPOLIC®/fr is composed of a fire-retardant thermoplastic core sandwiched between two thin metal skins, setting the industry standard for fire safety while offering the same finish choices and ease of fabrication as our standard ALPOLIC®/PE panels.

ALPOLIC®/RF
ALPOLIC®/RF Reflective Aluminum
ALPOLIC®/RF panels provide an exclusive, highly reflective hard-anodized aluminum sheet bonded to our PE core and backed by a second aluminum sheet. The result is a smooth, highly reflective material that’s much thinner and lighter than traditional options, much easier to fabricate and mount, and virtually unbreakable.
It’s the perfect solution for aircraft lavatories, gyms and spas, elevators, retail spaces, prisons and more – anywhere high reflectivity is required but a heavy, breakable reflector would be a liability.

ALPOLIC®/HD
ALPOLIC®/HD Heavy Duty
Heavy-duty ALPOLIC®/HD panels are manufactured with 0.032" top and bottom aluminum skins for added rigidity and strength. They provide superior yield and tensile strength, with over five times the flexural elasticity strength of our standard panels.
ALPOLIC®/HD can be produced in 4mm or 6mm thicknesses with either a polyethylene or mineral filled fire-retardant core. All of our standard fluoropolymer finishes are available including solid colors, mica, metallic and prismatic.
ALPOLIC®/HD panels are ideal for applications requiring heavy-duty strength and exterior performance. Because these panels are custom-manufactured, additional product lead time and minimum order requirements may apply.

ALPOLIC® BRAKE METAL
ALPOLIC® Brake Metal
ALPOLIC® Brake Metal offers a complement to our ACM products, giving fabricators the ability to form roof caps, flashing, fascia trim, accents and other complex forms using a sheet metal brake. This material is finished with Lumiflon® FEVE fluoropolymer resin in many of our most popular 4mm architectural stock colors and select specialty colors (custom colors require a special run of both the brake metal and accompanying panels).

GRAPHIC-AL™
GRAPHIC-AL™ Indoor and Outdoor Signage Display
GRAPHIC-AL™ aluminum composite materials are lightweight panels with thinner aluminum skins designed for signage, display and canopy applications. Three different types are available to suit particular application requirements.
DP panels are designed for direct UV cure print applications and are constructed using a foamed polyethylene core.
For more heavy-duty use, HP panels feature a high-performance polyester coating for applications such as canopies. GRAPHIC-AL™ LT is a reversible panel, coil-coated with polyester paints, and compatible with graphic films and screen printing. Both HP and LT panels are constructed using a solid polyethylene core.
